The Bureau has an administrative staff of eight, composed of a Bureau Manager, three Field Supervisors, two Customer Service Specialists, an Accountant, and a Data Processing Technician.

The 47 full time Log Scalers of our field staff are each trained and certified in one or more scaling methods. They also have the necessary Agency approvals to scale government wood. The Bureau Field Supervisors administer periodic Check Scales on the individual Log Scalers to insure that their log scale remains within acceptable, industry set, tolerance standards. Additional training and supervision are supplied where these standards are not met.

All Bureau personnel must also comply with published Standards of Conduct and Safety, as well as our substance abuse policy.
